Energy Chickens - Serious Animation Explain a Serious Game
In a modern energy efficient office, up to a half of electricity use is immediately in the control of office workers. But in most offices, even though the computers and other devices are frequently not in use, they are rarely turned off. If we can change people’s habits, we can save a lot of electricity and money.

Energy Chickens
Hand drawn animation 2013

The 'Energy Chickens' is a virtual pet game that monitors energy use data collected by Plugwise devices. Each chicken represents a different appliance for which the player is responsible, and the player’s energy consumption affects the well-being of their chickens. I made the 'Energy Chickens' animation that indicate the concept and outcome of this serious game by a humorous way.
