All animals on this planet are creatures that share existence with human beings and deserve to be free. However, animals have been tormented by the human race for too long. In the animated film “Factory,” I ask the viewer to take the animals' point of view, and show them the relationships between human and human, and between human and nonhuman, but from within a world of other super-intelligent creatures.

At the New Media program of Penn State, I’m working on a series of documentary animations, reflecting the dinosaur’s culture and society from my imagination. Since we humans have a highly developed civilization, but it was dependent on countless animals’ lives. We kill billions of animals for food everyday, for science research and medical tests, lock them up for entertainment, kill them for clothes and fashion design, etcetera and etcetera... In this video, I reflect this issue by talking about the dinosaur’s history. In the ancient time, the dinosaur did not go extinct. Their culture developed and they controlled the world thousands of years before human evolution. So humans are just small animals in the wild. In this fictional world, the dinosaurs do what we did in the real world.
 
I did research on Egyptian culture and Mayan civilization before I started this animation. I developed ancient Egyptian paintings for my animation and I chose some reference from their society for my story to let this world be more believable. I used drawing, digital painting, 3d modeling and sculpture to make this animation.
