Hunting
All animals on this planet are creatures that share existence with human beings and deserve to be free. However, animals have been tormented by the human race for too long. In the animated film “Factory,” I ask the viewer to take the animals' point of view, and show them the relationships between human and human, and between human and nonhuman, but from within a world of other super-intelligent creatures.

The people that live beside the coast, like the Japanese and Indonesians, prey whale for food. In Indonesia, there are a lot of people still using spear fighting with whale directly and kill them in the sea. I saw a series of photographs showing the cruel massacre. The people jump high from a ship and point down a sharpened spear directly to the whale’s head and kill it. The blood came out from the whale just like a spring. The whole part of the sea turned to red because of the murder and other whales were crying for their dead family. Based on their culture and those images, I created ‘Hunting’, which shows the dinosaurs preying on human beings as food. The human beings have no force to fight to live. They have no options, except escaping or dying.
